You already know the reverse osmosis device spring-time®420 pro or have read about it and want to go one step further? It is important to you to enrich your drinking water with hydrogen gas in addition to purification by reverse osmosis and energisation by a pulsating magnetic field? Then the spring-time® premium pro is just right for you. It is as easy to use as a coffee machine and has now also been technically improved. What is new is that you can now select via the menu field, whether you want to drink "Freshly pressed water" or "Freshly pressed water with active hydrogen". In addition to the three filters for water purification, another filter is added: the sterile filter. It is located in the new outlet tap and adds an additional safety level.

| Antioxidant effect |
Hydrogen-gas enriched water changes its redox potential and owns an antioxidant effect. This means that a negative redox potential results in the ability to neutralise free radicals. Free radicals are atoms or molecules with a free, unpaired electron. Thiselectron makes free radicals extremely reactive and can lead to harmful reactions within the organism. |
| Free radicals and oxidative stress |
Free radicals arise on the one hand through natural processes, e.g. through breathing or also during physical exertion and sport. For the amount of free radicals naturally produced, the body is able to establish a healthy balance (oxidative homeostasis) through redox regulation. On the other hand, external factors such as UV radiation, pollution, negative eating habits, smoking and alcohol also lead to an increase of free radicals. If there are not enough antioxidant protective mechanisms to break them down, oxidative stress develops in the body.Furthermore, inflammatory reactions, infections and chronic diseases can also cause oxidative stress. Accumulated oxidative stress can impair the immune system and promote the development of acute or chronic diseases or premature ageing. This can lead to a kind of vicious circle in which the oxidative stress and the associated stresses mutually condition and support each other. |
| Drinking water as antioxidant | To counteract oxidative stress, it is important to help the body neutralise free radicals with antioxidant substances. Nutrition with a balanced intake of micro- and macronutrients plays a major role in this. Vitamins in fruit and vegetables are particularly important in this context. Enriching drinking water with hydrogen gas has the effect that the water is also able to act as an antioxidant and neutralise free radicals due to the resulting negative redox potential. For this, the previously neutral hydrogen changes its oxidation state to +1 and thus has a reducing effect. Therefore, with simply drinking H2-enriched water you are able to additionally help your body to avoid oxidative stress. |
| H2-enrichment by electrolysis | Electrolysis means, that water is split into its individual parts by applying an electrical voltage. By means of an integrated electrolysis unit, the spring-time® premium pro (opposite to spring-time® 420 pro) splits a small part of the purified water into its components (hydrogen- and oxygen gas) by platinum electrodes. The simplified sum equation for this process is: 2 H2O (water) --> 2 H2 (molecular hydrogen gas) + O2 (oxygen gas) The oxygen gas is removed and collects in the rectangular container on the back of the unit. The hydrogen gas is dissolved in the water and provides a negative redox potential that can be detected over several hours. The initial amount of dissolved hydrogen gas immediately after enrichment is about 400 ppb (parts per Billion). The measured redox potential is then approx. -120 mVolt. After three hours still approx. -60 mVolt is detectable. Untreated tap water usually has approx. +500 bis +800 mVolt. The redox potential is a measure that indicates how easily a compound accepts or gives up electrons. The lower the mVolt value, the easier it is to neutralise free radicals. Breast milk, for example, has a redox potential of -33 mVolt, amniotic fluid even a value of -69 mVolt. |

The Filter-Systems
For water purification, spring-time® premium pro owns three filter systems that are active one after the other:
- Pre-filter (Sediment- or activated carbon pre-filter)
- Reverse-osmosis-filter
- Ceramic filter
| Pre-filter | The pre-filter is responsible for "the coarse". It filters dirt particles and the smallest particles out of the water right at the beginning. In the course of time, it becomes clogged with the collected particles and must therefore be replaced every 6 months at the latest. The sediment pre-filter is screwed into the unit on delivery. If the drinking water in your location is disinfected with chlorine and there is still residual chlorine in your tap water, it is essential to use the activated carbon pre-filter. You can order this pre-filter separately from us. |
| Reverse-Osmosis filter |
Within the reverse-osmosis-filter an extremely fine filtering process takes place. Here, the tap water to be purified is passed by a membrane under pressure and pressed through microscopic holes in this membrane. The pores of this membrane are so fine, that only water molecules, dissolved oxygen and some minerals in ionic form, such as potassium and magnesium ions, can penetrate through them. All other, larger molecules and substances (heavy metals, germs, bacteria, viruses, fungal spores, parasites, pesticides, nitrates, chlorine compounds, fertiliser and drug residues, hormones, lime, etc.) do not pass through and thus do not get into the pure, filtered water. Reverse osmosis achieves an optimal cleaning effect, which is not surpassed by any other filter system. Almost all dissolved substances are removed from the tap water and it becomes pure and clear drinking water, which is in not inferior to the quality of natural spring water. |
| Ceramic filter | The water is split into two parts by the reverse osmosis process:
The advantage is obvious: with most other reverse osmosis devices, you have a ratio of purified to contaminated water of 1:2 at the end of the purification process. This means that you throw away two thirds of the water and, in contrast, only one third is drinkable as filtered water. With the spring-time® premium pro, the ratio is exactly reversed thanks to the technology developed and patented by aqua living®. Ultimately, 1.2 litres of highly purified, swirled and energised water are obtained from 1.8 litres of tap water. |
| pH-value | The swirling has a special advantage: Since oxygen is also dissolved in the water through swirling, there is no CO2 uptake in the water after filtration and thus no lowering of the pH value. |
Maintenance and cleaning
| Checking the purifying function | For checking the purfying function, spring-time® premium pro measures during the process the conductivity of the water and shows it on the display. The conductivity indicates how many dissoved particles are contained in the water and is measured by the spring-time® premium pro in ppm (parts per million). During the whole purification process, the conductivity of the water within the removable tabwatertank is measured. You are able to recognise the concentration on the steady increase of the ppm value. It arises from the fact, that the water in this container becomes less, whilst the amount of the dissoved particles remains the same. At the end of the process the device measures the conductivity of the purified water that is dripping from the water tap into the carafe and will show a dramatically reduced ppm-value on the display. According to the quality of the tap water within your residential area, the conductivity may start at approx. 100 bis 200 ppm and rise during filtering process to approx. 300 to 400 ppm. At the end of the process the measurement of the purified water out of the tap may result in 5 to 30 ppm. In this way you are able to see for yourself, that the reverse-osmosis filter is working properly. |
| Maintenance by decalcification and desinfektion | Both cleaning systems downstream of the pre-filter, reverse osmosis and ceramic filters, are - in contrast to the pre-filter - not collecting-containers for dirt and therefore have a long service life (usually more than 5 years). To maintain this long service life, these filters require regular maintenance in the form of descaling (1x a month) and disinfection (every six months). Both processes are very simple and can be carried out without tools. Follow the description in the instructions for use exactly and carry out all instructions step by step. For descaling, a commercially available organic descaler is included in the delivery, which is sufficient for half a year. You can obtain the organic descaler inexpensively in many supermarkets. However, it is also possible to use other decalcifiers containing citric, lactic or malic acid. For disinfection, you need the 3% hydrogen peroxide solution (H2O2), which is included for you. Furthermore, you can get it easily for a few euros in any pharmacy and in many drugstores. |
High-quality, pure water improves purifying and detoxing the body
Not all water is the same
Pure, clean water owns a higher capacity to absorb metabolic waste products within the body, in order to excrete them through the kidneys, intestines, lung and skin. For this it is helpful, that the drinking water is not loaded with pollutants and other substances.
| What about minerals? | Often we are asked about the minerals within the water. Most parts of this minerals are eliminated from the water through reverse osmosis. Occasionally there is concern, that reverse osmosis water can lead to mineral deficiany and therefore is unhealthy. This assumption is unfounded. Mineral poor water is even especially useful, as all in water dissolved minerals weaken its transport- and detoxifiying capabilty. Therefore, mineral poor water is most suitable to support detoxing. A balanced nutrition provides our body with sufficient minerals. In addition, minerals dissolved in water are only biologically available with difficulty. Minerals naturally contained in foodstuffs are much easier for the body to utilise and more effective. Water has a much more important function in the body as to provide us with minerals. For the water to have optimal cleaning and transport properties, it should be as free of pollutants, still and low in minerals as possible. |
Energising the water with vitalization and
magnetic field technology according to Dr. Ludwig®
Reverse-osmosis-water often is considered to be an „empty“ or „devitalized“ water. The reason for this is, that through reverse osmosis process with a passage of a very fine-pored membrane, the natural cluster-structure of the water is dissolved. In order to support the reconstruction of this cluster-structure it is important, to re-structure the water after purfication and at the same time to energize it. In order to achieve this,spring-time® premium pro uses two different methods:
1.) Within the ceramic filter the water is swirled. In this moving water, cristalline structures can multiply again.
2.) The spring-time® premium pro is equipped with an in-built magnetic field generator according to Dr. Ludwig®. During the whole filtering-process this device generates a pulsing magnetic field of 7,8 Hz, the main frequency of the Schumann frequency, in order to energise and to revitalise the water. This vitalization also happens for all foodstuff containing water that is located within a diameter of 1 meter around the spring-time® premium pro device.
| Enviromental signals | When the environment is intact, we are exposed to different natural frequencies and frequency-ranges, the so-called environmental signals. Our body is used to this natural signals. One of these is the main frequency of the Schumann frequency (7,8 Hz) and also some geomagnetic frequencies. This frequencies contain the frequencies of the 64 trace-elements (such as iron, sodium, calcium, ...) that are contained in earth`s crust. Each of this trace elements owns a characteristic oscillation pattern. |
| Magnetic field generator by Dr. Ludwig® |
Dr. Ludwig developed a procedure which is capable to modulate the frequency range of these 64 trace elements onto ironcores. These structure-modified ironcores are built-in in all springtime premium devices, in order that the information of the specific oscillation patterns of the trace elements automatically is submitted together with the pulsing magnetic field generated by the device. Dr. Ludwig spent many years intensively studying the properties of water and undertook spectroscopic measurements to determine water quality. His biophysical measurement results show following: Water has a memory. It is able to carry information.
These informations are stored within the cluster structure of the water and can be passed on to other systems or organisms. You can recognize the magnetic field generators developed by Dr. Ludwig® by a specific arrow icon. This icon symbolizes the generation of a electromagnetic biofield, which is modelled on undisturbed nature. |

Die Filtersysteme im Springtime Premium Pro
Zur Wasserreinigung sind im spring-time® premium pro drei Filtersysteme nacheinander geschaltet:

- Keramikfilter

Sediment oder Aktivkohle-Vorfilter
Das spring-time®premium pro-Gerät kann mit zwei unterschiedlichen Vorfiltern betrieben werden. Anhand der Trinkwasserqualität Ihres Wohnortes entscheiden Sie, welchen der Filter Sie nutzen. Zur Auswahl stehen:
- Sediment-Vorfilter (bei Auslieferung im Gerät installiert, für ungechlortes Leitungswasser, Wechsel spätestens nach 6 Monaten, auch bei sporadischer Benutzung
- Aktivkohle-Vorfilter (bei Bedarf anfordern, für Einsatz im Ausland und bei stark chlorhaltigem Leitungswasser, Wechsel spätestens nach 6 Monaten, auch bei sporadischer Benutzung)
Bei der Lieferung ist im Gerät der Sediment-Vorfilter eingeschraubt. Sollte das Trinkwasser Ihres Ortes mit Chlor desinfiziert werden und sich immer noch Restchlor in Ihrem Leitungswasser befinden, ist unbedingt der Aktivkohle-Vorfilter zu verwenden. Diesen Vorfilter können Sie bei uns extra bestellen. Bitte lesen Sie aufmerksam die Gebrauchsanweisung mit den Kriterien, die bestimmen, welche der beiden Vorfilterarten Sie für Ihr spring-time®premium pro-Gerät nutzen möchten.
Wartung der Filtersysteme
Wartung Vorfilter (Sediment- oder Aktivkohle-Vorfilter)
Austausch spätestens alle 6 Monate
Generell wird ein Filtertausch spätestens alle 6 Monaten empfohlen. Dennoch sind Zeitabstände des Vorfilterwechsels auch abhängig von der Leitungswasserqualität. Stark belastetes Leitungswasser kann hier zu kürzeren Zeitabständen führen.
Der Vorfilter ist für „das Grobe“ verantwortlich. Er filtert gleich zu Beginn Schmutzpartikel und kleinste Teilchen aus dem Wasser. Im Laufe der Zeit setzt er sich durch die aufgefangenen Partikel zu und muss deshalb spätestens alle 6 Monate erneuert werden, auch bei sporadischer Benutzung ist das dringend anzuraten..
Wichtiger Hinweis: Bei der neuesten Generation des spring-time premium pro mit verbessertem Auslaufhahn (inkl. Sterilfilter und H2-An/Abschaltung) muss vor dem Filterwechsel der Sterilfilter entfernt werden. Bitte beachten Sie die entsprechende Filterwechsel-Anleitung (s. Download).
Wartung Sterilfilter (im Auslaufhahn):
Austausch alle 6 Monate

Wartung Umkehrosmosefilter und Keramikfilter
Grundsätzliches: Führen Sie immer ein bis zwei Wasserreinigungen ohne H2 zwischen den Wartungsschritten durch.
Entkalkung und Desinfektion
Beide dem Vorfilter nachgeschalteten Reinigungssysteme Umkehrosmose- und Keramikfilter sind im Gegensatz zum Vorfilter keine Sammelbehälter für Schmutz und haben deshalb eine lange Lebensdauer (in der Regel mehr als 5 Jahre). Um diese lange Lebensdauer zu erhalten, benötigen diese Filter eine regelmäßige Pflege in Form von Entkalkung und Desinfektion, beides spätestens nach 4 Wochen. Beide Prozesse sind sehr einfach und ohne Werkzeug durchzuführen. Halten Sie sich hierbei genau an die Beschreibung in der Gebrauchsanleitung und führen Sie alle Anweisungen Schritt für Schritt aus.
Zur Entkalkung liegt der Lieferung ein handelsüblicher Bioentkalker bei, der für ein halbes Jahr ausreicht. Benutzen Sie zur Entkalkung ausschließlich den vom Gerätehersteller empfohlenen Bio-Schnell-Entkalker der Firma Heitmann. Aqua Living hat verschiedene Entkalkungsmittel getestet und festgestellt, dass der genannt Entkalker der gründlichste ist und am besten für Spring-Time Anlagen geeignet ist. Das hat mit dem Mischungsverhältnis der einzelnen Komponenten des Entkalkers und mit den verschiedenen Kalkformen in unserem Trinkwasser zu tun. So ist z. B. reine Zitronensäure als Entkalkungsmittel für die Spring-Time Anlagen gänzlich ungeeignet, weil diese Säure das hochwertige Kunststoff angreift. Aqua living empfiehlt, die Entkalkung am besten immer wieder mal auch über Nacht laufen zu lassen. Die lange Einwirkzeit des Entkalkungsmittels erzielt einen größeren Effekt, der vor allem in Gegenden mit stark kalkhaltigem Leitungswasser (> 14 dH) wünschenswert ist.
Zur Desinfektion benötigen Sie die 3%ige Wasserstoffperoxidlösung (H2O2), die für Sie im Lieferumfang enthalten ist. Weiters bekommen Sie diese für wenige Euro unkompliziert in jeder Apotheke und in vielen Drogeriemärkten, oder sie bestellen Wasserstoffperoxid bei BioPure.eu. Bitte legen Sie beim Nachkauf des Desinfektionsmittel Wasserstoffperoxid (H2O2) in 3%iger Lösung Wert auf Apothekerqualität „mit Phosphorsäure stabilisiert“.
Membranspülung: Führen Sie nach jeder Entkalkung, nach jeder Desinfektion, nach jedem Vorfilterwechsel, nach längerem Nichtgebrauch und nach einem Transport des Gerätes immer eine Membranspülung durch. Die Lebensdauer der Umkehrosmosemembran kann durch die regelmäßige Membranspülung verlängert werden. Die Membranspülung sorgt dafür, dass die Oberfläche der Membran „durchlässig“ bleibt – wodurch die Reduktionswerte und die Restwassermenge sinken.
Die Umkehrosmosemembran und der Keramikfilter müssen erst gewechselt werden, wenn sich der angezeigte End-Leitwert nach der Wasserreinigung (s. Gebrauchsanweisung) drastisch erhöht. Das sollte erst nach einigen Jahren des Gebrauchs der Fall sein. Sie können auch hier den Austausch ohne Werkzeug vornehmen. Da sich die Vorgehensweisen für den Vorfiltertausch für Sedimentfilter und Aktivkohleblockfilter unterscheiden, bitten wir Sie, in der Gebrauchsanweisung das entsprechende Kapitel auszuwählen und die einzelnen Schritte präzise nacheinander durchzuführen.
Wasserstoffgenerator
Der Wasserstoffgenerator gehört zu den Verschleißteilen und hat eine geschätzte Lebensdauer von zwei Jahren. Die wenigen Mineralien in Ionen-Form, die die Umkehrosmosemembran passieren, lagern sich an den Platinelektroden der
Elektrolyseeinheit des Wasserstoffgenerators an. Mit der Zeit entsteht ein Belag, der die Abgabe von Wasserstoffgas behindert. Die Erfahrungen der letzten Jahre zeigen aber, dass der Wasserstoffgenerator oft mehr als zwei Jahre zuverlässig arbeitet, wenn die Wartung eingehalten wird. (Mehr dazu siehe Gebrauchsanleitung S. 13)
