ORIGIN AND RAW MATERIAL

The brown algae Ecklonia cava thrives in the pure coastal waters of China, Korea and Japan. This extraordinary seaweed is characterised by a particularly high content of phlorotannins and other complex polyphenols, which only occur in this form in brown algae. Brown algae owe their beneficial effects on our bodies to their powerful antioxidant ingredients, whose antioxidant power is even stronger than that of red grapes.

HIGHLY CONCENTRATED EXTRACT WITH 90% PHLOROTANNINS

Our new, particularly high-quality Ecklonia Cava 90 is produced using hot water extraction followed by spray drying and guarantees a content of 90% valuable phlorotannins, which is 261 mg per capsule.

WHAT ARE PHLOROTANNINS?

Phlorotannins are complex polyphenol compounds that occur exclusively in brown algae. They belong to the group of secondary plant substances. In nature, they protect the algae from environmental influences such as UV radiation and oxidative stress. The antioxidant power of Ecklonia cava exceeds that of red grapes many times over.
