Ingredients: highly purified D(+) Galactose

Galatcose is a naturally occurring monosaccharide like glucose (grape sugar) and fructose (fruit sugar). Galactose is a component of milk sugar (lactose) and is present in small amounts in milk, dairy products and other foods. Galactose plays a major role in the metabolism of brain cells and is an essential component of nerve cells.

Our galactose powder is extracted from whey using a complex physical process under high pressure. The highly pure D(+) galactose powder is finely ground, tastes sweet and can also be mixed well with food, but should not be heated.

General Use:
3 times a day a lightly heaped teaspoon (= approx. 3g) of powder, or as recommended by your health care practicioner. The maximum daily dose is 6 teaspoons (= approx. 18g).
For optimal absorption, dissolve the powder in 1/4 litre of water. It is best to take galactose between meals.

Also suitable for diabetics and in case of fructose intolerance.
