Augmented NAC
Augmented NAC was developed using ground-breaking technology based on quantum physics to increase (= augment) the effectiveness of N-acetylcysteine (NAC). Thanks to the high-tech systems, more order has been brought to the subatomic structure of the N-acetylcysteine molecule, optimising all the beneficial properties of NAC. This significantly improves the antioxidant and detoxifying properties of NAC. Augmented NAC particularly supports the detoxification of harmful proteins and experience has shown that it promotes general well-being and energy levels. At the same time, augmentation has reduced the required dosage.
N-Acetylcysteine (NAC) is a derivative of the amino acid cysteine. It is used by the body to produce glutathione. Glutathione is the body's most active antioxidant and protects us from free radicals. Glutathione can reduce age-related oxidative stress, for example in the brain. NAC and cysteine are both antioxidants themselves, but also support the body's ability to detoxify by increasing glutathione levels. NAC is also often recommended as an expectorant for chronic or acute respiratory diseases. These effects of NAC have been proven many times over in scientific literature.

Essentially, an augmented preparation aims to provide a stronger and potentially more effective versionof a supplement by utilising advanced technologies and processes.
Why in a blister packaging?
Blister packs are a clever solution with many advantages:
• You can see straight away how many capsules you have already taken and how many are left.
• Blister packs are lighter than glass and are easy to carry in your bag.
• With blister packs, you only open one capsule at a time. The remaining capsules stay sealed and protected.
General Usage:
1 capsule twice daily, in the morning and evening, before or during meals, or as recommended by your health care practicionner.
If necessary, the capsule may be opened and the powder directly mixed into joghurt, juice or water.
Important notice:
The intake of augmented NAC should always be accompanied by sufficient binding agents. Dr Klinghardt recommends zeolite (due to its good tolerability) or chlorella as proven binders. It is best to take the binding agents approx. 1.5 hours after augmented NAC.
