Andiroba oil, cistus extract, essential oil blend (eucalyptus, white thyme, anise, cloves, cedar, lavender).

Recommended Use:
Apply to the skin several times a day as needed and massage in gently.

Natural multi-insect protection with pure plant power

This fragrant insect repellent contains purely plant-based active ingredients without chemical additives. The slightly oily texture is at the same time very skin caring and is quickly absorbed. The high-quality andiroba oil, cistus extract and a special blend of pure essential oils provide natural protection against annoying mosquitoes and ticks. Andiroba oil is extracted from the seeds of the Carapa guianensis plant, which is native to the Amazon region. The indigenous Indians have been traditionally using andiroba oil as an insect repellent. Special ingredients of this oil inhibit the appetite of insects. At the same time, the ingredients of andiroba oil have a moisturising effect on your skin.

This lotion reliably chases away insects such as:
  • Stinging flies
  • Horse flies
  • Mosquitoes
  • Ticks

What means "Repellent"?

A repellent (from the Latin repellere "to drive away", "to repel") - also known as a repulsive substance or scaring agent - is an active substance that is perceived by an organism through its sense of smell and which deters it without killing it. This group of repellents is mainly used against blood-sucking, disease-transmitting arthropods such as mosquitoes, horseflies or ticks. They are intended to keep these organisms away from humans and animals, but rarely also from plants.
