CLASSIC - the classic way to make a chlorine dioxide solution:
Maltesian Mineral Solution CLASSIC consists of a bottle of sodium chlorite NaClO2 and a bottle of HCl Activator. Both substances are mixed in a ratio of 1:1. After short activation-time arises the biocide Chlorine dioxide which brings about a highly effective abatement against bacteria, viruses, fungus, spores, algae, mites, parasites, biofilm and other sickness causing germs such as dangerous legionella. Stored separately, both components can be kept for years. A fresh chlorine dioxide solution is always produced when needed. Also approved for general disinfection in the private sector, for hygiene in the veterinary sector, the food and feed sector.
Areas of application:
Mobile drinking water purification for e.g. camping, boats, aircraft, travel, hotels, outdoors and hiking. Along with drinking water, you can thoroughly clean surfaces in the kitchen and bathroom such as refrigerators, cutting boards, toothbrushes, drinking containers, air humidifiers, linens and also meat, fruit and vegetables. Animal lovers also have a reliable method for disinfecting cages, stalls, drinking water and also feeding places.
1. Drinking water disinfectant
Products for the disinfection of drinking water (for humans and animals): According to the current Drinking Water Ordinance, drinking water is defined as all water used for drinking, cooking, preparing food and beverages as well as for personal hygiene and cleaning (e.g. bathing, and mouth rinsing) and cleaning of objects that come into contact with food (kitchen) or the human body (laundry). The process used and the starting components are compliant with the current Drinking Water Ordinance and DIN EN 12671 "Products for the treatment of water intended for human consumption - On-site generated chlorine dioxide" (2009). Among other things, it is mentioned in DVGW worksheet W291 "Drinking water pipe and container disinfection" as a proven and safe disinfectant and meets the requirements of TRSK 501.
2. Disinfectants for the private sector
Products used for the disinfection of air as well as surfaces, fabrics, equipment and furniture not in direct contact with food or feed, in both the private and public and industrial sectors, including hospitals, as well as products used as algaecides. The areas of application include, but are not limited to, swimming pools, aquariums, bath water and other water, air conditioning, walls and floors in health care and similar facilities, chemical toilets, sewage, hospital waste, soil and other ground (in playgrounds).
3. Disinfectants for the food and feed sector
Products for the disinfection of equipment, containers, cutlery and crockery, surfaces and pipes used in connection with the production, transport, storage or consumption of food or feed or beverages (including drinking water) for humans and animals.
4. Biocidal products for hygiene in the veterinary sector
The products in this product group are products for veterinary hygiene purposes, including products for use in areas where animals are housed, kept or transported (e.g. stables and cages).
